Child Safety Standards

Effective Date: 06/06/2026. Our absolute commitment to combatting child sexual abuse and exploitation.

1. Our Commitment

As the creator and developer of Kismet, the safety and protection of children is my highest priority. I take an unyielding stance in protecting minors and maintaining a secure, respectful digital environment within this platform.

2. Zero-Tolerance Policy Against CSAE & CSAM

I maintain a strict, absolute zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). This includes, but is not limited to:

  • The creation, upload, transmission, hosting, or sharing of any imagery, text, data, or audio representing the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.
  • Child grooming behaviors, predatory interactions, or the online solicitation of minors.
  • Any form of physical, emotional, or digital endangerment directed toward children.

3. Human Review & Enforcement Actions

Please note that as a hobby project, this platform does not utilize automated AI monitoring or background content scanning algorithms. Instead, moderation is driven entirely by user-submitted flags. Upon receiving an in-app report containing valid indicators of CSAE or CSAM, I will personally review the evidence and immediately execute the following actions:

  • Content Obliteration: The immediate, permanent erasure of the offensive records from the database and active systems.
  • Terminal Account Action: The immediate, irreversible termination of the offending user profile.
  • Network Blacklisting: Permanent blocking of the offending user's network IP addresses to prevent them from re-registering.

4. In-App User Reporting Tools

Because this application relies on community vigilance, Kismet equips users with explicit, intuitive, and readily accessible real-time reporting mechanics. Users can instantly flag malicious behavior, suspicious profiles, or abusive communications directly inside the chat and screen view interfaces. These flagged items are escalated directly to my developer safety desk for swift human review.

5. Reporting to Authorities and Legal Compliance

In strict compliance with regional and federal child protection acts, any identified instance of CSAM will be preserved and reported immediately alongside all relevant technical telemetry, tracking signatures, and IP logs to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement agencies. I will fully cooperate with criminal investigations into child endangerment.

6. Designated Point of Contact

As the independent publisher behind Kismet, I act as the sole authorized, dedicated point of contact fully equipped to address law enforcement inquiries, compliance audits, or urgent deletion requests regarding platform safety controls.
